Application to Contribute Photos to CalPhotos

If you would like to contribute photographs to the CalPhotos database, please fill out this form. We will ask you to send two sample photos; please fill out this form when you have two JPEG samples ready.

1. Biographical information
Please give us 1-2 sentences about yourself. Include where you live, and what your background is, such as professional or academic training or photography experience. What you type here will appear in your biographical blurb on our website for library users to read. (Note: training in the sciences is not required to contribute photos but we need enough info to gauge the accuracy of your plant/animal identifications.)

2. Affiliation
If you want to include an organization, univeristy, or group with whom you are affiliated, include the name here.

3. Special interest
If you usually photograph a particular plant, animal, or geographic area, or if you have expertise in one of these areas, please enter it here. (What you type here will appear in your biographical blurb on our website for library users to read.)

6. Create a username You will be able to use your username when you log in. Your username will not be displayed. It must be at least 5 characters and contain only letters and numbers. No spaces, diacritics, or other characters.
7. Create a password Enter it twice. It must be at least 6 characters and must contain at least one letter and at least one number.
