| John Game grew up in England and studied botany at university there. He moved to California in 1978 and worked as a molecular biologist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for many years. He currently has an affiliation with Stanford University. Special interests include ferns, the family Liliaceae and mountain plants of northwest California. John is also doing research on Pacific Island ferns. He is active with the California Native Plant Society and Calfora, and is a research associate at the University of California Herbarium at Berkeley. |
