CalPhotos photographer profile for Eric White:
|
I graduated from UC Berkeley in 1988 and worked for years as a Wilderness Ranger on Mt. Shasta. Due to the amount of field time, I contributed observations and photographs to both the Botany and Wildlife departments of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. I now work for the National Ocean Service/NOAA. My interests include evolutionary biology and serpentine ecology. I have focused on the endemic plants of Mt. Eddy, California, and the endemic plants and animals of the Hawaiian islands. |
Special interests/expertise: Plants and wildlife of the Mt. Shasta and Mt. Eddy area in northern California, and the plants and wildlife of the Hawaiian Islands. |
