I live in Humboldt county where I work as a professional botanist and an educator. I have a MA in Biology with an emphasis in mycology, a California teaching credential (multiple subject and life sciences) and a BS in Communication of Environmental Biology. I am currently serving as the president of the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society. As an undergraduate I studied photography and I almost exclusively photograph flowers and fungi.

Special interests/expertise: In my current position, I specialize in north coast rare and sensitive plants and all their associated species.
