Have been working as a botanist for almost 10 years. Mostly self-taught, but have taken many classes, and have spent extensive time surveying with other experienced professional botanists. On the Board of Northern California Botanists, and am a Vernal Pool CRAM Trainer, etc.

Area of Expertise:  Most experienced with the flora of the Sacramento Valley and foothills of the northern Sierra Nevada, but have also spent quite a bit of time in the Mojave, Coastal Sage Scrub in the LA Basin (Chino Hills, etc), San Francisco Bay Area, and the higher Sierra.
