William Leonard lives in Olympia, Washington with his wife Vicki and two children. Bill has authored a couple dozen papers and articles on amphibians, reptiles, and terrestrial molluscs, and has co-produced three books on the amphibians and reptiles of Washington and Oregon. In 1997, Bill teamed up with acclaimed nature photographer Larry West to author "How to Photograph Reptiles and Amphibians" (Stackpole Books). Bill's photographs have appeared in textbooks, calendars, field guides, magazines, and on the cover of Herpetological Review.
