Vaclav Gvozdik holds a MSc. in Zoology from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, and now is a PhD student at the Department of Vertebrate Evolutionary Biology and Genetics, Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and the Department of Zoology, Charles University in Prague. He is a committee member of the Czech Herpetological Society. His main interests are focused on systematics, evolution and biogeography of amphibians and reptiles, and wildlife photography has been his hobby for several years.
Special interests: Mostly amphibians and reptiles.
