Robert Hole, Jr. is an itinerant biologist and natural historian struggling to make a living as an artist and database developer. He has a B.S. in Environmental & Systematics Biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and had done graduate work in Mississippi and New Mexico, and field work around the US and in southern Mexico. Much of his interest revolves around birds, but he can't help looking at other things too.
