Born in 1973, Renaud Boistel prepare a PhD in Orsay from University Paris XI. I am working in the University Paris-Sud and the Museum of Paris (MNHN) on the ear anatomy of anurans amphibians. I am currently working on the calls of Atelopus from French Guyana, female call and vocal sac. I compare the mechanism of acoustic communication between earless frog and ear frog during me PhD. I have started using several methods such as Computer Tomography. His herpetological interests focus on the acoustic behaviour of frogs, on which he has published since 1997. He lives in Morsang sur Orge, France, At 30 Km south Paris.
