I'm a PhD student studying population genetic patterns of Mediterranean amphibians* and the impact of habitat fragmentation and loss on population connectivity. I mainly focus on populations in southwest Portugal where the habitat (mostly traditional farmland) is increasingly destroyed by agriculture intensification.
