Michael Frede has a degree in geography and is a scientist at the Biologische Station Rothaargebirge, Erndtebruck, Germany, where he mainly deals with nature conservation by contract, controlling of nature reserves, and collecting data of different animal groups and plants. His hobbies are painting and photographing the animals and plants.
