Mark is the Founder and Executive Director of the Amphibian Foundation based in Atlanta, GA USA. Mark Mandica was trained in the biological sciences at UMass (Amherst) (B.S.) and at the University of Miami (M.Sc.). His research is primarily on amphibians. He is also a photographer and scientific illustrator with particular attention to amphibians and their parts.
Special interests: Southeastern US and neotropical amphibian species with a particular focus on ephemeral wetland obligates.
