Lara Hartley is a professional photographer/photojournalist living in the Mojave Desert of California with 35 years of experience and a passion for wildflowers. Currently she is working on several projects including an online guide of Mojave desert wildflowers. Lara has a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts from San Francisco State University.

Special interests: Calochortus species, other lilies, orchids and rare/endangered plants are of special interest.
