John Conley is an amateur naturalist and photographer who resides in San Francisco. He is also an avid hiker who can usually be found on Bay Area trails every weekend. On weekdays, his time is consumed by his duties as a Deputy Public Health Director for San Mateo County. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism with minor work in marine fisheries biology.
Special interests: Marin County flora, particularly of the Point Reyes peninsula and Mount Tamalpais.
