Most recently I've been a biological science technician for both the National Park Service and United States Geologic Survey-Biological Resource Division in Death Valley and Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks. I have lived in both parks for the past three years and have been taking pictures of plants for the past six years.

Special interests: I enjoy photographing all types of plants and animals but I am most familiar with those of the Southern Sierra Nevada, Mojave Desert and vernal pools of Northern California.
