| Hunter Breck I have been an amateur botanist since 2012 after studying under Glenn Keator and Stew Winchester at Merritt College, College of Marin, and Tilden Botanic Garden. I am a Marin county native and specifically passionate about my county's flora. In the past 4 years my skills as an aspiring botanist have really taken off. On my own I have helped out our CNPS chapter and Marin Municipal Water District in locating/finding rare plants. From CNPS listed rare plants to taxa that are uncommon to rare in the county. I correspond fairly frequently with Marin CNPS rare plant chair, Doreen Smith. She has noticed that I have a real aptitude for finding plants as I tirelessly explore on and off trail. I also communicate with naturalist/botanist David Greenberger of One Tam, who also can vouch for my accuracy of ID skills, geo tags, and ability to find rare plants.
