| Heather Lannie Ishak has a BS in Animal Science with an emphasis in Avian Science from the University of California at Davis and a Masters in Biology from San Francisco State University. Her MS thesis was on blood parasites in owls and their implications for Spotted Owl conservation. She is primarily interested in birds of prey, and has experience working in raptor rehabilitation at the California Raptor Center, Davis, CA. Heather has also interned and volunteered for the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory in the Marin Headlands, CA.
