Duncan S. Bell. Field botanist and curatorial assistant to the herbarium at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden. I spend a lot of time doing field work on BLM lands and in the San Bernardino Mountains monitoring and exploring previously uncollected or under collected areas for rare, threatened, and endangered species. I am currently working on a flora of the Arica Mountains and Rice Valley.
Special interests: Rare plant conservation. Floristics. The Sonoran and Mojave desert regions. Under collected or unexplored areas of Southern Californias deserts. Insect/Plant interactions. Desert ecology.
