Madhava Meegaskumbura is currently faculty at the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya. He did his PhD on frog phylogenetics and evolution at Boston University and was a Ziff postdoctoral fellow studying Sri Lankan frog systematics and evolution at Harvard University Center for the Environment and Museum of Comparative Zoology. He is a member of the Amphibian RLA (ASG/IUCN).
Special interests: Amphibians, Small Mammals, Reptiles and Fish mainly of Sri Lanka
