Dr. Lloyd G. Simpson

Lloyd Simpson is the Los Padres National Forest Botanist. He is stationed at the Ojai Ranger District office in Ventura County but works through out the forest. After a long career traveling and conducting research in Asia the sub-arctic and Central America, Lloyd has returned to his roots in California and enjoys working to protect the botanical resources of one of the most ecologically diverse National Forests in the US. An experienced photograher, Lloyd enjoys documenting the rare and sensitive plants of the Los Padres.
