Special interests: Research: population ecology/genetics, evolution/speciation, phylogeography/historical biogeography, habitat analysis, developmental ecology. Amphibians, lizards, small mammals, snails. Biodiversity of the Caucasus region and temperate rainforests in general. Over 30 peer-review publications in the field.
