Barbod Safaei   


Barbod Safaei-Mahroo studied Habitats and Biodiversity at the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch and received his M.Sc in 2014, completing his thesis on ecological investigation of critically endangered Kaiser's Mountain Newt (Neurergus kaiseri) in Khuzestan and Lorestan Provinces of Iran. He is an Iranian ecologist and founder of the Pars Herpetologists Institute. Barbod works on reptiles and amphibians conservation in the Middle East. His efforts focuses on protect endemic herpetofauna and identifies species threat factors. His favorite species are Geckos, Salamanders and Newts and interested in macro-photography and field surveys.
