| Aaron E. Sims is the Rare Plant Botanist for the California Native Plant Society (CNPS). 'I have been a student of the California flora for over 10 years. Having started my botany study and career on the central coast, I generally feel more confident with my plant site ID in the SCoRO region. However, with a current focus to learn about all of California's rare and endangered plants, which make up 1/3 of the state's native flora, I strive to botanize the entire state and relinquish my regional bias.' | | Special interests: California native plants; especially rare plants.
