| I am a retired weed scientist from the University of California, Davis; BSc in Horticultural Botany from Reading University in England, and PhD in Crop Ecology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Life-long interest in plant taxonomy, which specialized in weeds during my academic career. I am a Fellow of the Weed Science Society of America. Serious amateur photographer using Nikon photographic equipment.
