| Retired in 2010 after 45 years at the University of Texas at El Paso mostly with major administrative responsibilities but most recently serving as Director and Botanical Curator of the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens of the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso, Texas. BA degree in Geological Sciences and Art. Self guided botanical training under Dr. Richard Worthington (UTEP) and mentored by Dr. Richard Spellenberg (NMSU). Numerous published credits as both plant photographer and horticultural writer.
