| Cindy Hitchcock earned a BA in fine arts and a MS in biology, emphasizing in herpetology and amphibian decline. Cindy was formerly a graphic designer for companies including Pepsi Cola Company and Lennox China, but later worked as a field biologist for US Geological Survey and Aspen Environmental Group in Southern California. She now resides in Reseda, CA with her husband (also a herpetologist) and two children. Although she has always enjoyed painting, Cindy only began painting technical herpetological pieces in 2010, combining both of her passions. |
| Special interests: Most of her technical watercolors have been North American herpetological subjects although she has recently branched out to insects and birds as well. |
