notes Keyed to Descurainia pinnata ssp. brachycarpa in the Jepson eFlora Descurainia treatment...among the distinguishing characters are the glabrous and fairly-wide fruits; the presence of twice-pinnate leaves (low on the plants); and the densely-pubescent inflorescence axes. After keying, I checked the CalFlora 'What Grows Here' app and found that the only Descurainia record for a fairly large area surrounding this locale (see here) was for D. pinnata ssp. brachycarpa (made by BLM botanist Ryan O'Dell here). photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
