notes Detail view of the small open flower. Unfortunately, at this magnification I was not able to get the depth of field required for both the 'staminal-tube + anthers' *and* the glistening, translucent 'digitate processes' in simultaneous focus. However, my best guess is that there were 4-5 of the translucent rod-like processes at the ends of the appendages projecting from the bases of the two filaments opposite the sinuses of the 'innermost' of the five corolla lobes.
