notes Closer view. Found this splendid population off trail at about 8000' elevation. I used to have trouble sorting out Leptosiphon ciliatus (which can occur at fairly high elevation in the mountains), from the rather confusingly-named Leptosiphon montanus (which is typically a larger plant that usually grows at what I think of as lower 'foothill elevations' in the Sierra Nevada).
