  • notes   This specimen grown in a horticultural setting on potting soil, in Hollister, CA. Seed collected from Condon Peak. Disjunct population of Gilia aliquanta ssp. breviloba at Condon Peak. Locally common on Condon Peak and similar habitat nearby (greywacke slopes). Very gravelly, sandy substrate derived from greywacke. Open, exposed habitat between trees and low growing shrubs. Also co-occurring here with disjunct population of Gilia jacens. Very close by, immediately west of the peak, is disjunct Lomatium foeniculaceum.
