  • plant community   along Rio Petrohue, on acidic, volcanic soils and gravels over basalt flow substrate,, in a humid , temporate woodland in a narrow valley draining the Rio Petrohue between two large conical volcano peaks at -41.17031,-72.44925 elv 530' (160m).
  • notes   native to Chile and southern South America. Some authorities consider E.paniculatum to be synonymous with E. humboldti.
