location
California Botanic Garden (Los Angeles County, California, US)notes Plants appear to be the result of a natural crossing of Salvia mellifera, on one side of trail, with Salvia columbariae, on the other. These plants came up on the S. columbariae side of the trail under S. columbariae, which suggests they are from seed of a S. columbariae mother plant that was pollinated by S. mellifera.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
