notes Leptosiphon acicularis plants are quite small in size, often less than half the height to typical L. parviflorus.

There are a number of collection records for L. acicularis from near here: this 1982 record is from Bouverie Audobon Preserve, which is adjacent to Glen Oaks Ranch; there is also a 1911 collection by Jepson from nearby; and even an 1862 collection by William Brewer from the vicinity.
