  • plant community   serverly burned over Pinyon-Juniper-Oak woodland, scattered marginal stump regrowth of trees and forbs, now recovering largely with abundant grasses and forbs
  • notes   in calcareous soil and gravels of a low limestone hill crest, just west of Rio Penasco valley. Area severely burned over in 2002.
