  • plant community   Mossy forest floor of wet coniferous foothills near stream
  • notes   One of 2 species of Scoliopus genus and endemic to western Oregon. Plants observed around 1-10m from stream. McDowell creek canyon is from NE to SW and plants observed were predominantly on the southern side of stream with NW aspect. Elevation of observed plants was between 259-274m. Most common associated species: Douglas Fir, Big Leaf Maple, Sword Fern, Wood Sorrel, variety of moss sp.
