location
mobile sand dunes, approx. 25 km ENE Bahía Creek (Adolfo Alsina Departamento, Río Negro, Argentina)species associated with this habitat: Hayalis argentea var. latisquama Sporobolus rigens notes Hyalis is the dominant shrub on the mobile dunes. I only found one bush with flowers in 5 weeks (mid-April to 26 May 2019)working in these dunes. All of the other thousands of plants that I were close to had finished flowering and shed their seeds. So, late May is not the normal flowering time for this species.keywords: sand dunes, Hyalis argentea, Sporobolus rigens
