Northeast edge of Fish Creek Mountains (Imperial County, California, US)notes Comparison of two Loeseliastrums taxa growing together with distinctly different flowers. No intermediates were found. I'm calling these Loeseliastrum matthewsii and L. schottii for now, and they may be. I suspect there likely are Loeseliastrum taxa that need describing. No guarantee either of these are one of them though.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
