  • notes   State of Oregon endangered species; federally listed as species of concern. Endemic to Willamette Valley, Oregon. Endemic nature may be related to the Spokane ice dam floods 12,000 to 15,000 years ago (Chambers, J. Bot. Res. Inst. Texas 12(1):17-23, 2018). Perennial forb that is long lived, taking years before flowering and is positively effected by fire (McKernan, 2004 OSU Master's Thesis). Elevation in image approximately 260ft/79m.
