Det. using Kew Bulletin Vol. 27, No. 1 (1972) 95-114; similar to S. furcatum but corolla tiny by comparison; perhaps is S. americanum var. nodiflorum. Basionym: Syst. Veg. (ed. 15 bis)4: 664. 1819.
