Dublin Hwy 580 & Tassjara Rd. (Alameda County, California, US)notes These plants were photographed March 10 2003 and were under cultivation by Randal Morgan in Santa Cruz. Critical study of the specimens is needed: vouchers are UCSC008647, UCSC008667 and UCSC008122. Whether or not the detail photos show the thick pedicle base and swollen calyx and spatulate sepals requires study of the vouchers.
