  • notes   Nationally significant reproduction area of Rana arvalis in the landscape of the lower Randow swamp (Unterer Randowbruch). The protected area covers 225 hectares. During the 1980s several thousand individuals were counted during the reproduction period in the first April decade. The current situation shows that the suitable spawning areas were fallen dry because of the lowering of the groundwater level.
