Zadnja Trenta valley, about 200 m east of the spring of river Soča, East Julian Alps (Posočje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: usnjata golobica - syn.: Russula adulterina (Fr.) Peck, Russula alutacea subsp. integra (L.) Singer, Russula phlyctidospora (Romagn.) Bon - Habitat: wood edge, Picea abies dominant; almost flat terrain; calcareous, colluvial ground; partly sunny; exposed to direct rain; average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 5-7 deg C, elevation 900 m (2.950 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: soil. - Comments: Two fruit bodies found; SP light ocher. - Spores unregularly, coarsely warty. Dimensions: (8) 8.5 - 10 (11.4) × (6.2) 6.9 - 7.9 (8.9) µm; Q = (1.1) 1.2 - 1.3 (1.4); N = 30; Me = 9.3 × 7.6 µm; Qe = 1.2; Olympus CH20, NEA 100x/1.25, magnification 1.000 x, oil (spore); in water, fresh material.
