  • plant community   Semi-arid grassland invaded by Chihuahuan Desert scrub at 4777' (1456m)
  • notes   small trailing annual in roadside drainage swale on volcanic sandy/silts and small gravels at the west base of a small rhyolitic hill. Leaf lobes margins are ciliate. Sepal mid-vein darker and somewhat raised or crested, hence the name 'Crestrib'.
