plant community Chihuahuan Desert arroyo riparian at 4127' (1258m)notes few scattered annuals in thin mixed arroyo gravels and silty to clay soil of scoured arroyo drainage bottom. A rare Trans-Pecos occurrence of this uncommon Texas endemic. ID confirmed by A.M. Powell(SRSU). Note the unusual, somewhat thickend/fascicated cluster of erect central stems on this specimen distorting the otherwise normal trailing, prostrate nature of mature plants.keywords: CDR, Chihuahuan Desert
