INFORMATION PROVIDED WITH THE PHOTO
  • date of photo  Apr 6, 2018
  • this photo depicts a plant that was cultivated or collected in the wild
  • photo location   UC Berkeley Jepson Herbarium
  • plant's place of origin   Titus Canyon, Grapevine Mountains (Inyo County, California, US)
  • notes   I have been searching for this plant in the field, but have to date only found A. latifolia which resembles this taxon. A. ripleyi is, however, a perennial while latifolia is an annual. I am hoping some herbarium images might help in identifying this taxon in the field.
