  • plant community   Chihuahuan Desert gypsophilic scrub at 4488' (1370m)
  • notes   note sinuate/crispate fruit of low perennial on silty clayish gypseous soil covered by coarse gravels of anhydrite gypsum and gray limestone exposed on southwest facing foothill slopes of the escarpment, with endemic gypsophiles Anulocaulis leiosolensis v. howardii, Mentzelia humilis v. guadalupensis.
