This was another interesting new taxon for me. It was originally described by Wiggins in 1933 as species Draba demareei, and later subsumed as a variety of D. corrugata by Hitchcock in 1941...and most recently reinstated at the species level in 2007 by Al-Shebaz & Windham (cf. last paragraph in FNA discussion Draba corrugata here). This taxon appears to be endemic to the Sierra San Pedro Martír area, according to the 2010 checklist by Thorne, Moran, & Minnich (PDF here)...which, though published after Al-Shebaz & Windham(2007), still referred to the taxon by the varietal name. The 2016 'Annotated Checklist of the Vascular Plants of Baja California' by Rebman, Gibson & Rich also uses the varietal name, so it seems most practical to post the images here under that name.
