plant community Chihuahuan Desert Larrea-Dasylirion-Yucca-Fouquieria scrub at 4620' (1407m)notes a 'forest' of arborescent plants on limestone hillside with Dasylirion wheeleri, Fouquieria and Opuntia. Status of Y. torreyi is unclear or confused, being variously considered as a synonym of either Y. faxoniana or Y. treculeana by some, or as a legitimate taxa by others. Until the matter is better resolved, there is justification for leaving it as is.keywords: CDR, Chihuahuan Desert
