plant community Chihuahuan Desert scrub at 2654' (809m)notes flat topped spineless succulent on an outwash plain of mixed alluvial gravels of pale limestone and reddish volcanic rhyolite. Scarcely rising above ground level, plant is easily overlooked, especially in dry season.
