  • notes   Leaves and inflorescence at the end of a stem of Maianthemum (Smilacina) racemosum. The epithet here is amusing (or annoying, depending on one's view) in that the inflorescence in *not* racemose in this species (it's paniculate). The other CA ''former Smilacina'' species, M. stellatum, *is* racemose.
